Ryan Roberts, the man behind Ryan's Promotions, started out helping his father 25 years ago with the spring Fling Swap Meets in Turlock, California. Ryan had a natural interest for muscle cars and hot rods and loved watching and learning about them. The more he worked the events the more he enjoyed it. The ambitious kid that he was, Ryan wanted to have his own show when he was 17 but his dad thought that he was not ready yet.

Ryan continued to participate in several other shows, took on more responsibilities with his dad and learned more. Eventually it had to happen and a few years later Ryan launched his very own summer Turlock Auto Swap Meet and Car Corral. The event was a grand success only as expected, coming from such an illustrious background.

Today, Ryan's swap meets have grown into one of the most premier Classic Auto Swap Meets in the central valley. Ryan's shows attract on an average around 10,000 spectators and about 900 - 1000 vendors selling or showing cars and parts, visiting from far off places. Noticing this demand for swap meets and car shows that focused more on Classic Cars, Ryan has added more events to the calender. All events are hosted at the Stanislaus County Fair Grounds in Turlock and offer an auto swap meet and a full car show with an an old school hot rod palooza.

Ryan welcomes participants to bring out their classic bikes and choppes to the shows as well. Everyone loves to see a great bike! Ryan's own prized collection includes some of the best old cars like the 1961 Oldsmobile and a 1956 chrysler New Yorker.

The great old beauties have continued to fascinate me since my childhood and I know there are thousands of others who feel the same. I dedicate my shows for those old school car and bike lovers as part of preserving and promoting this distinguished community.
